Our family’s annual earth day “buffalo hunt”.
"Buffalo hunt"?? What is that, you ask?
We decorate paper bags with themes about our lovely planet. Then we head
outside to fill our bags with trash that has collected up over the winter.
We didn't find that elusive buffalo but we did have some fun cleaning up.
From our family to yours, happy earth day!

Check out Fluf’s booth from our most recent “Showcation”: part tradeshow; part vacation. (Much as we miss our young children’s piercing sibling rivalry and being awoken from REM sleep nightly, walking the streets of NYC, boozy dinners out and Gift Fair are sort of fun too.)
It was a stellar show. It was so nice to see so many familiar (and new!) faces.
It was also an honour to be chosen as one of the NYIGF’s 7 Most Sustainable Companies.

Fluf lunch bags donated to 500+ students as part of FoodShare’s province-wide fall harvest celebration, Eat-in-Ontario!
FoodShare Toronto is a non-profit community organization whose vision is to provide good, healthy food for all.
Founded 26 years ago to address hunger in our communities, FoodShare takes a multifaceted and long-term approach to hunger and food issues. FoodShare works to empower individuals, families and communities through food-based initiatives, while also advocating for the broader public policies needed to ensure that everyone has adequate access to sustainably produced, good healthy food.
As one of its initiatives, FoodShare has been instrumental in spearheading the model for student nutrition programs in the city of Toronto. Its approach involves bringing food-based education to our schools, as well as transforming on-the-ground meal programs.
It is actively involved in creating models for teaching and fostering healthy eating by delivering fun, hands-on, curriculum-linked activities. FoodShare seeks to remind children what food is and where it comes from, and to impart that healthy food also tastes good. The ultimate goal is to help children acquire food literacy skills and learn to make good food choices, on their own.
We share FoodShare’s vision that all children and youth should have access to healthy and delicious foods, as well as learn the tools to make life-long, healthy food choices.
In support of that mandate, we are pleased to have donated 1,500 lunch bags for use in FoodShare's school programming. Most recently, Fluf lunch bags were given out to 500+ students at Eat-in-Ontario, its province-wide fall harvest celebration teaching students of all ages the joys of cooking, growing and tasting good, healthy food!
Rock-on FoodShare!!

What an honour to be included in this Post City article (and featured on one of the covers!) about great products that are made in Toronto.
We are proud to screen-print our yardage fabrics, as well as manufacture our pillows, handbags and storage bins in our hometown. One of our sewers has been with us since the day we opened our doors in 2005. It is amazing to have that history, trust and connection.
However, for clarity, while we favour local manufacturing where possible, our lunch bags, backpacks and snack packs are manufactured in China. Product-specific information is included on our website pop-ups.
If you have any questions about our products and/or manufacturing, please do not hesitate to contact us!
